aluplast Technical Support

Our aluplast technical team prides itself on its ability to deliver support appropriate to our customers’ requirements.

Full initial and refresher fabrication training is provided and is normally carried out at customers’ premises, however our fully equipped training workshop at Lutterworth provides facilities for refresher courses and product introduction/ conversion courses as required. Certificates are issued to companies and operatives who successfully complete aluplast training courses.

Customers receive periodic visits from our field service technicians to help keep them abreast of aluplast product developments and to offer advice where requested regarding machinery, factory layouts, software production efficiencies and effectiveness. They also carry out periodic quality checks.

Our technical team also provide telephone support on most aspects of aluplast window and door systems and can provide assistance with design windload calculations, hardware specification and operation, CAD drawings, achieving accreditations and general problem solving. We can provide profile and sectional drawings as .dxf files for CAD systems where required.

Comprehensive Technical Manuals and System Wallcharts are issued free of charge only to aluplast approved fabricators and are updated by our technical team as and when necessary. Manuals and profile charts are also available on CD-ROMs.
